Ejendomsselskabet Olav de Linde is the developer behind this impressive commercial building, which will rise at Mindet 6 in Aarhus.

With more than 50 years of experience, the company has established itself as one of the country's leading private property developers. With dedicated management and over 100 employees across offices in Aarhus, Odense, and Copenhagen, the company boasts a solid historical background and a clear business strategy, making them a central player in the Danish property market.

Denmark's Tallest Office Building

At Mindet 6 by Aarhus Harbour, Ejendomsselskabet Olav de Linde will now erect a new, bright, and sculptural tower that combines urban life, cultural history, and modern facilities.
With exclusive rentals and space for 2,000 people, Mindet will become a new iconic landmark in Aarhus. The building's architectural quality and open outdoor spaces, such as a rooftop garden and green public area, will make it an attractive place for both work and leisure.
The new tower, reaching a height of 139 metres, will be the tallest office building in Denmark upon its completion in early 2027.

Modern aesthetics in harmony with existing buildings

The tower's design and geometry harmonise with the existing buildings while also adding a modern aesthetic. The building integrates former industrial history with new cultural and commercial facilities, as well as public restaurants.

Much of the existing building structure from 1926, one of the country's first reinforced concrete buildings, will be incorporated into the new construction, in line with Olav de Linde’s proud tradition of preservation and renovation.

The old building will be preserved with all its historical qualities and transformed into an attractive part of the city's space, with open connections to its surroundings. A publicly accessible green rooftop garden will be created, bringing additional life and activity to the area.

The facades, which will be executed by HSHansen A/S, will consist of light materials with spatial relief, taking into account the orientation of the sun to ensure optimal daylight conditions, good views, and a healthy indoor climate.

They will be executed as prefabricated elements with varying geometry. These elements will be fully produced and delivered to the construction site, including all necessary cladding components, glass, and other details. On-site, the elements will be directly lifted into place on the tower, ensuring quick assembly and efficient handling of the logistical challenges in the centre of Aarhus.

To ensure a smooth and problem-free installation, all details and interfaces will be carefully clarified and agreed upon before execution, so that the schedule can be adhered to.

The complex solutions and specially developed joints will ensure the airtightness of the high-rise building, which is necessary due to the building's movements in all directions. HSHansen's façade systems are designed to accommodate the natural movements that occur in tall, slender buildings. Additionally, passive fire protection will be integrated into the project, further enhancing safety and durability.

"We are very proud to be part of this impressive project," said Carsten Sørensen, Head of Sales & Marketing at HSHansen. "We look forward to a good collaboration with the main contractor on the project, Per Aarsleff A/S, and of course, to seeing the finished project, which is scheduled for completion in 2027."

HSHansen A/S won the façade contract in competition with several national and international companies in the industry and has played a central role as a sparring partner for the main contractor, Per Aarsleff A/S, as well as Rambøll A/S and C.F. Møller A/S, in the development of the project.
