About the project
The two residential towers of 60 and 80 meters leave a distinct mark on the area around Kalvebod Brygge in Copenhagen.
With a hexagonal core with square decks that almost twist around and create level-divided balconies. The two sharp buildings, which will accommodate 495 youth homes with an average of 30 square meters, have become a new, significant focal point in the area.
The 100 percent prefabricated elements are brilliant to use for facade closures in places where you have to go up high and space is tight.
The cactus towers were designed by the architectural firm BIG and the client behind the project is Høpfner Projects.
"What made us choose HSHansen (HansenGroup) for the closure of the Kaktus Towers was that they do a complete facade closure with responsibility for the whole thing", says Per Høpfner. "They have experience with these complex buildings".
