Uptown Nordbro

Danica Pension has invested in the establishment of approximately 500 student residences on the old DSB area at Borgmestervangen in Nørrebro.

The development is named Uptown Nordbro and is designed by Arkitema Architects. Uptown Nordbro will accommodate 600-700 students and guest researchers, as well as a grocery store, small commercial leases, and a café.

The development consists of seven point blocks, each containing 11 student residences on each floor, as well as a 29-story high tower with Copenhagen's highest publicly accessible observation platform.

Borgmestervangen will be redesigned around the student residence complex. A new street will be constructed towards Mimersparken, and a new local public space will be established towards Hothers Plads.
